Who is Tamron Hall?
Tamron Hall is currently a dayside anchor for MSNBC. She has previously worked for WFLD-TV in Chicago from 1997 to 2007. Before that Tamron Hall was a general assignment reporter at KTVT in Dallas, Texas. Hall has a Bachelor of Arts in Broadcast Journalism from Temple University. As a former Chicago resident, Tamron Hall frequently reports on issues related to Chicago politics. Recently Tamron served as a substitute anchor for Keith Olbermann on Countdown. Tamron Hall joined David Shuster as the co-hosts of a new two-hour program, The Big Picture which premiered June 1 and ended January 29, 2010. Tamron now anchors MSNBC Live weekdays at 11am and 2pm Eastern. Additionally Hall is a rotating news anchor on Weekend Today and fill-in news anchor/ 3rd hour co-host on the weekday Today Show .
